Vinylize x AC/DC - ROCK AND ROLL AIN’T GONNA DIE
Vinylize is no ordinary eyewear brand. And AC/DC is no ordinary rock ‘n’ roll band.
Vinylize has been handcrafting eyewear frames from virgin vinyl records since 2004. The Budapest based boutique company’s exclusive designs are beloved by some of the biggest names in music, including Robbie Williams, Elton John, Mick Fleetwood and many more.
AC/DC need no introduction as one of the world’s favorite rock ‘n’ roll bands. Released in 1970, their iconic album Back in Black is one of the biggest sellers of all time and spawned the monster hits Hells Bells, Back in Black and You Shook Me All Night Long.
Now Vinylize is Back in Black with a unique collection of eyewear frames exquisitely fashioned from the original Back in Black vinyl. The exclusively licensed products feature the unmistakable AC/DC lightning bolt discreetly inlayed on the exterior of the temples, while the original grooves of the record are clearly visible on the front of the frame.
Built to last and suitable for fitting with optical lenses or ready to wear as sunglasses, these exclusive designs combine the refined elegance of the Vinylize brand with a genuine piece of music history. Equally at home in the office and the moshpit, all frames in the collection can be purchased ready to wear with premium sun lenses or fitted with optical lenses by an optician for everyday use.
Each of the three models pays homage to one of the songs on the Black in Black album.
Hell - Named after the disc’s opening track Hells Bells, Hell is a rugged frame with a dropped temple that makes a powerful statement both as sunglasses and an optical frame.
Bone - Inspired by the no-holds-barred hit Givin’ the Dog a Bone, this classic round frame features a keyhole nose bridge for a softer, more refined look that still knows how to rock.
Noise - They said Rock and Roll Ain’t Noise Pollution and this uncompromising frame captures the AC/DC spirit with its timeless teardrop shape and clean lines.
The three shapes come in small, medium and large to suit any face. Click
